What can be done to help AIDS orphans in developing countries

How can we help AIDS orphans in developing countries, and make them feel loved? Is it our duty as individuals in a community or is it the government's responsibility to look after these children?

my way is to sponsor a child at Chinhoyi orphanage, and to send monthly letters and little home made toys , like paper airplanes, but mainly to send graphic pics of love to all of the 36 kids... who I really feel need all the caring they can get. To show they are not alone but have friends who care
